ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS AT MAHAKAVI KALIDAS AUDITORIUM,MULUND (W)
ON 11TH

In keeping up the tradition of Mulund
Bunts, 14 th Annual Day was celebrated in Mahakavi Kalidas Auditorium
,Mulund (W) with pomp and fervor, on 11th Jan 2019. The Managing Committee
headed by the President, Shri Vasant N shetty Palimar exhibited their ability
to articulate a string of events, which reflected the typical grandeur of Mulund Bunts, once again.
Entertainment
Young children of Mulund Bunts Members,
Youth wing members and our Ladies Wing Members presented various dance numbers
from Kannada Music/others and entertained the audience of about 1200
spectators. Mulund Bunts members lead by Hemanth
V. Shetty presented a Dance number in their traditional attire which was a show-stopper.
A skit on Emperor Shivaji was an added attraction. The décor of the stage was
excellent. Rashma anchored the
entertainment slot along with Mr. Praveen

The Stage Function
Several dignitaries from Bunts Sangha Kurla and from overseas
decorated the stage as guests. President, Mr. Vasant N. Shetty welcomed the
guests and the audience. He paid tribute to the Past Presidents, Trustees and
those responsible for the success of the function. Mr.
Aikala Harish Shetty, President of World Bunt Federation was the Chief
Guest. Mr. Y. Sudhir Shetty CA from Abu
Dhabi was the Guest of Honour. Miss. Ansha Sayed of CID TV serial added
glamour to the stage. Mr. Nalinkumar Kateel,
BJP MP and the President of Karnataka BJP Parliamentary Party, inaugurated the
Stage Function by lighting the Lamp. Guest of Honour CA Sudhir Shetty conveyed a lot of
messages to the audience from his rich experience. He emphasized the need to
maintain the lawfulness by our citizens to ensure peace in our country. Aikala
Harish Shetty was explaining about the Charitable Project of providing free
houses to the needy Bunt Families, initiated by him, and solicited monetary
support from all Bunts. Miss
Ansha Sayed expressed that she loved the
traditions and food of the Bunts Community. Nalin Kumar Kateel blessed Mulund Bunts to serve the people in and around Mulund
in future as well.
The individuals who made outstanding contributions to Mulund Bunts, medical Field and Hospitality were
felicitated by the Dignitories present on the Dias. Mr.H. Prakashchandra
Shetty, Past President & Trustee, Dr.Satyaprakash Shetty & Dr.Sangeeta
Shetty (Medical) and Mr.Dinakar Shetty & Harish Shetty of Ramada
(Hospitality Ind) were the awardees felicitated.
Dinner
A sumptuous dinner had been organized for all those
who attended the function, with a culinary skill of Manisha Caterers
